It features double fenced entry, dog agility equipment, shaded benches, observation cameras and more! There are also convenient water fountains for dog use and multiple pet waste disposal stations. The PetSafe Unleashed Dog Park is operated by the City of Sevierville. It is open daily November through March from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and April through October from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Everyone is welcome to bring their dogs to the park! However, please note that all pets must be vaccinated as required by City and State laws.
2. Gatlinburg Trail
If you want to enjoy a scenic walk with your dog in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, head to the Gatlinburg Trail! It travels for 1.9 miles from the trailhead on River Road in Gatlinburg to the Sugarlands Visitor Center in the park. However, pet owners are encouraged to rent a tether if they want a separate tube for their pooch. River Rat Tubing suggests that the dog be comfortable with the water. You can expect some river rapids and no dog life jackets provided. Moreover, it is best if your dog weighs less than 60 pounds, otherwise their nails may pop the tube!
